Privacy

ACDb is a free, fan-made collection tracker. It has no ads, sells nothing, and uses no cookies or advertising trackers. This page explains what is stored, where, and how to remove it.

If you don't sign in

Your collection (owned items, wishlist, condition, copies, price paid, date acquired, and notes) is saved only in your browser, in its local storage. Nothing about it is sent anywhere. Clearing your browser data removes it, so use Export now and then to keep a backup file.

If you sign in with Google

Signing in is optional. It keeps your collection in your ACDb account so you can open it on any device. When you sign in, ACDb asks Google only for your email address and your Google account ID (a number that identifies your account). ACDb never sees your Google password, contacts, or anything else in your Google account.

ACDb then stores:

Signing out ends that device's session and removes the collection from that browser. It stays in your account for the next time you sign in.

Public profiles and the leaderboard

If you choose Share, your display name, the list of items you own, and how many you own become public on your profile page and the Collector's Leaderboard. Nothing else is shown: not your email, notes, prices, or condition. When you're signed in, your profile updates automatically as your collection changes. You can delete it at any time from the Share menu.

Where it's stored

Accounts, collections and profiles are stored with Cloudflare (Cloudflare Workers and its D1 database). To prevent abuse, the server also counts requests per IP address for sharing and sign-in; those counters are deleted within a day. Visitor statistics come from Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is anonymous and uses no cookies. The site's fonts are loaded from Google Fonts.

Your controls

Cloudflare may keep short-term database recovery copies (for up to 30 days), after which deleted data is gone for good.
